Sangria Beauty exists because the press-on nail industry has a plastic problem. Every salon-quality set on the market today is made from ABS plastic. It's petroleum-derived, non-recyclable, and destined for landfill where it will outlast everyone reading this.

We build the same salon-quality nails out of plant-based PLA. Same gloss, same wear, same confidence, without the petroleum-derived ABS plastic or the microplastics it sheds into your body.

"Eco-friendly" means nothing on its own. We'd rather under-promise than slap green buzzwords on a plastic product. As we earn lab results and certifications, we'll publish them, with the documentation to back them up.

Beauty lover, recovering plastic-press-on wearer, and the one asking why salon-quality nails still have to come at the cost of your health and the planet.

I started Sangria Beauty because I couldn't keep wearing press-on nails knowing every set I peeled off was going to outlive me in a landfill. Salon-quality press-ons are ABS plastic. Petroleum-based, non-recyclable, forever.

But it wasn't just the landfill that bothered me. ABS plastic breaks down into microplastics that absorb into your skin, enter your bloodstream, and disrupt your endocrine system. The same chemicals linked to hormone imbalance, reproductive issues, and chronic inflammation. All for a manicure. I didn't want to trade my health for beauty, and I didn't think you should have to either.

So I went looking for a better way. Plant-based PLA gives the same gloss, same wear, same confidence as plastic, without the hormone disruptors and without the microplastics. The mailer is designed to recycle curbside. The glass file you keep forever. The whole goal is a beauty product that leaves behind as little as possible, for the planet and for your body.
